About the position

The Director of Financial Aid at Lehman College is responsible for the overall management and leadership of the college's financial aid programs, overseeing the awarding of over \$70 million annually. This role ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, provides quality services to students and families, and supports the college's goals of recruiting and retaining a diverse student body. The Director will lead the Financial Aid Office, manage staff, and serve on various committees to enhance financial aid services.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and management of the Financial Aid Office.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state aid laws and regulations.
• Support the college's goal to recruit, retain, and graduate diverse students.
• Track and assess financial aid outcomes.
• Hire, supervise, and evaluate staff.
• Serve and lead both CUNY and Collegewide committees.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and eight years' related experience required.
• Master's degree preferred.
