Financial Aid Coordinator - (P/T)
Drew UniversityDrew University is seeking a Financial Aid Coordinator - Part-time, hourly position, 25 hours per week preferably from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. The duties of the Financial Aid Coordinator are to provide administrative support to the office and to assist the staff with operational support and projects as needed. This position helps identify, record, and direct the flow of data through the Office of Financial Aid. The coordinator also directs the flow of communication with students, in-person, via email, and over the phone, and answers financial aid questions whenever possible, while referring more complex inquiries to the appropriate counselor, when necessary. The coordinator will also support budget processing for leadership across the Enrollment Management division.
Job Responsibilities
- Greets students and families, responds to and triage phone calls and email messages for the financial aid office.
- Requests, reviews, and uploads documents to support student’s financial aid applications into data management systems and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Provides support for administrative and operational tasks in the financial aid office including data processing and keeping the office environment welcoming for guests.
- Provides budget management and processing support to the Vice President for Enrollment Management and Strategic Communications and Directors across the division.
- Attends recruitment and retention events as needed, including occasional weekend or evenings.
Job Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree (BA) preferred; or two-years in a related field.
