Financial Aid Counselor

• Eastern International College is seeking a detail-oriented and student-focused Financial Aid Counselor to assist students throughout the financial aid process and support the daily operations of the Financial Aid Office.
• Responsibilities include advising students on financial aid eligibility and application procedures, maintaining confidential student records, processing and updating information in the Diamond D system, collecting and reviewing required documentation, coordinating with Admissions and the Registrar, maintaining student invoices, preparing correspondence, and ensuring compliance with institutional, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree and have at least two years of experience working in financial aid within a higher education institution.
• Candidates must possess strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace and demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, maintain high ethical standards, and provide exceptional service to a diverse student population is essential
• Strong knowledge of federal and state financial aid regulations and higher education financial aid systems is required.
• Full Time working four days a week and Saturday

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
