Financial Aid Specialist (Remote)

The Higher Education Assistance Group, Inc.(HEAG) has an immediate need for Financial Aid consultants for a fully remote, full-time, 4-6-month engagement.We are seeking reliable, compliance driven candidates with a minimum of 3-5 years' practical, hands-on experience in the following targeted Title IV processing areas :Packaging and repackaging aid for returning undergraduate or graduate students.Credit balance analysis and resolutionReturn to Title IV calculations, including R2T4 requirements for modulesThe successful candidate will demonstrate :A deep understanding of Title IV regulations and workflowDemonstrated competency with various technology tools including financial aid management systemsAbility to organize and prioritize tasks in a virtual environmentClear written and verbal communicationThe ability to troubleshoot issues independently and escalate appropriatelyExcellent attention to detailAdaptability to virtual and asynchronous trainingThe Higher Education Assistance Group, Inc.(HEAG) is a comprehensive financial aid consulting group with corporate headquarters located in Wellesley, Massachusetts & has been in business for over 35 years.Our consultants are based across the country.Please submit your resume and cover letter for immediate consideration.Application Deadline 8 / 18.
