
For our client, we are seeking a Executive Director, Office of Student Financial Aid to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space.
This leader will oversee a comprehensive student financial aid operation across multiple campuses, ensuring consistent practices and strong support for enrollment management goals. The role will provide strategic direction for compliance, systems modernization, and scholarship administration while partnering with campus leaders and external agencies. This position also calls for leadership in legislative advocacy, professional engagement, and staff development to strengthen service delivery and retention.

Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for financial aid across three campuses
- Support enrollment management through effective financial aid planning and execution
- Ensure consistent financial aid practices across campuses
- Oversee compliance with federal and state financial aid laws
- Build relationships with higher education organizations and key stakeholders
- Lead the modernization of financial aid systems and processes
- Support scholarship fundraising and management
- Serve as liaison with federal, state, and local financial aid agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of professional leadership experience in university financial aid
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial aid programs and university accounting policies
- Experience with complex audits and decentralized institutions
- Understanding of national and state-level financial aid issues
- Proficiency with financial aid technology and data reporting tools
- Strong communication skills to explain changes to diverse audiences
- Proven supervisory and leadership skills for managing a large staff
