Director, Financial Aid

Develop and implement strategic plans for the distribution of financial aid resources to support students' educational goals.

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the financial aid office, including managing a team of financial aid advisors and administrative staff.

Stay up-to-date on all federal, state, and institutional financial aid policies and regulations to ensure compliance and make necessary adjustments.

Work closely with other university departments to collaborate on initiatives and ensure alignment with overall institutional goals.

Develop and maintain relationships with external organizations and agencies to secure additional funding opportunities for students.

Serve as a resource for students and families, providing guidance and support in navigating the financial aid process.

Continuously assess and improve financial aid processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

Provide leadership and training to staff, promoting a culture of excellence and commitment to equity and inclusion.

Prepare and present reports to senior leadership and participate in strategic planning discussions.

Represent the university at conferences and events related to financial aid and higher education access.

Manage the financial aid budget and oversee the allocation of funds to meet the needs of eligible students.

Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial aid applications and disbursement of aid.

Monitor and analyze data related to financial aid, identifying trends and making recommendations for improvement.

Collaborate with the admissions office to develop and implement strategies to attract and enroll a diverse and talented student body.

Uphold the university's mission and values in all interactions and decision-making processes.
