Manage and oversee the financial aid process for a large and diverse student population.

Stay updated on the latest financial aid regulations and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional guidelines.

Collaborate with other financial aid professionals to develop and implement effective strategies for promoting access and affordability to higher education.

Provide excellent customer service to students and their families, answering questions and addressing concerns related to financial aid.

Evaluate and award financial aid packages based on individual student needs and available resources.

Develop and maintain relationships with external organizations and agencies to secure additional funding opportunities for students.

Conduct financial aid presentations and workshops to educate students and families about the financial aid process and available resources.

Serve as a resource for campus departments and committees on matters related to financial aid.

Supervise and train staff members to ensure the efficient and accurate delivery of financial aid services.

Utilize data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of financial aid programs and make recommendations for improvements.

Advocate for policies and procedures that promote access and affordability for all students, particularly those from underrepresented and marginalized communities.

Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive student information in accordance with privacy laws and regulations.

Represent the university at conferences and events related to financial aid and stay informed on industry best practices.
