Financial Aid Coordinator

Student Financial Aid Coordinator IIThe Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships (SFA) is actively seeking a detail-oriented individual to join the Outreach, Training, and Compliance team. In this role, you'll conduct in-person and video presentations, participate in student activities, and assist students and their families with their financial aid concerns. You will also collaborate with other areas in SFA to ensure vital processes, like the disbursement of financial aid, occur in an efficient and timely manner.

The successful candidate will possess excellent customer service, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Outreach, Engagement, and Student SupportConducts financial aid and wellness presentations for both on-campus and off-campus audiencesRepresents the office at events for students, families, and community or campus partnersDevelops and updates outreach and training materialsResolves complex or escalated student financial aid cases from OneStop Enrollment ServicesAssists with financial aid processing tasks, including award and disbursement operationsOccasionally travels locally and throughout the state for outreach (including non-business hours), using a state vehicleLifts and transports recruitment and informational materials (up to 40 lbs)Compliance and Administrative DutiesMaintains the office's Policies and Procedures Manual to ensure regulatory complianceGathers information for compliance requestsPerforms other duties as assigned by supervisorExpected Salary: $47,500 annually.
