## Job Summary

The Manager of Financial Aid Systems researches, evaluates, implements, and provides support for desktop enterprise software application systems to facilitate the operation of university processes.

## Duties

  • Performs testing of new processes and testing in conjunction with upgrades
  • Analyzes and validates new and current Financial Aid processes. Researches other automation
  • Plans and coordinates application upgrades and testing with IT staff, vendors, and key users; works with vendors to resolve issues if any arise
  • Ensures that required reporting is completed and submitted accurately and in a timely manner
  • Manages and recommends development of technical solutions and re-engineered systems
  • Designs and writes programs to produce reports or creates interfaces for university administrative databases
  • Performs system analysis and develops programs according to the standard established by the EM and IT system development group
  • Develops, maintains, and distributes training materials for software applications
  • Develops customizations and updates to Peoplesoft for financial aid and reviews system functionality
  • Provides data fees and translations of student record data for various departments
  • Assists departments with decision-making for system processing
  • Assists with project management for scholarship platform technology deployment

## Qualifications

  • *Required Education:**
  • Bachelor's degree
  • *Required Experience:**
  • Minimum of four (4) years of job related experience including one (1) year of programming
  • *License/Certification:**
  • None Required

## Preferred Qualifications

  • NASFAA Certifications

## Work Location and Physical Demands

  • *Primary Work Location:**
  • Works in an office environment 6 to 8 hours
  • *Physical Demands:**
  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any unpleasant elements. Position is physically comfortable; individual has discretion about walking, standing, etc. Work environment involves minimal exposure to physical risks
