Job Summary

Manages and administers tuition connection and financial aid

programs for students, including staff and resource management,

reports and program reviews, compliance with university and funding

agency requirements, and student financial aid applications and

counseling.

Job Description

  • Assist in the development of strategic planning initiatives and

unit objectives to ensure appropriate use of financial,

administrative, staffing resources, and alignment with the

strategic plan.

  • Assists in the development of operating policies and procedures

to comply with regulations, institutional policies, and unit

objectives.

  • Serves as primary liaison for assigned area.
  • Supervises, trains, and coordinates the activities of

staff.

  • Assists in developing and auditing the unit budget.
  • Serves as a key authority among internal and external

stakeholder groups providing organizational information and

representing the interest of the unit in the absence of a

Director.

  • Identifies, develops, and monitors staff performance and

goals.

  • Conducts workshops and training seminars to inform students and

university clients about student financial aid; advises

students/families regarding application process and eligibility for

student financial aid.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership to staff members within the scholarship

area.

  • Manage and oversee the operational aspects of the area and

frequently makes decisions by exercising discretion and independent

judgment.

  • Performs managerial and supervisory duties.
  • Responsible for the overall administration of all scholarship

programs

  • Administers Federal Title IV aid programs and state grant

programs. Communicates availability and eligibility criteria to

potential recipients. Monitors continuing eligibility of recipients

and counsels’ recipients whose awards are in jeopardy.

  • Ensures compliance with institutional, state, and federal

policies, procedures, and regulations.

  • Oversees the workflow of assigned personnel ensuring the

efficient operation of program/area.

  • Trains staff on office procedures.
  • Conducts performance evaluations for supervised staff

members.

  • Assists in planning and establishing departmental goals and

objectives.

  • Performs similar or related duties as assigned or

required.

Bachelor's (Required)

Relevant experience | 5 Years, 3 years supervisory | Required

Compensation

$62,441.60 - $93,641.60
