Financial Aid Officer

A company is looking for a Financial Aid Officer responsible for reviewing student financial aid eligibility documentation and preparing accurate financial aid award packages.

Key Responsibilities

Implement financial aid policies and review applications to determine eligibility for awards

Prepare financial aid award packages and maintain accurate documentation and tracking

Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic planning and diversity initiatives

Required Qualifications

Associate degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred

1-3 years of relevant experience in financial aid, finance counseling, or loan processing

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

General knowledge of the higher education industry preferred

High aptitude for math and strong command of the English language
