Financial Aid Administrator
The Salon Professional Academy- *Job Description**
- The Financial Aid Administrator administers packages and awards aid within the required timelines for students and their families on behalf of the School.
- Must have knowledge of current Department of Education regulations to ensure proper handling of funds or **be willing to learn.**
- Completes quarterly and yearly Federal government reports.
- *Responsibilities**
· Meet with prospective students and families, conducting career planning sessions and Academy tours
· Send out information to prospective students
· Respond professionally to email/phone inquiries
· Communicate with student / parent in aiding them in the process of packaging and awarding aid for student
· FAFSA /ISIR collected
· E-MPN collected
· Entrance Loan Counseling completed and documented
· Verification, complete if applicable
· Cost of Attendance Worksheet and Loan Disclosure Completed to determine eligibility /acceptance of aid package
· Work with Third Party Servicers
· Accurate Placement Order for Student Files
· Collect Award Offers prior to class start date
· Request Disbursements
· Verify Satisfactory Academic Progress through Student Report Card
· Disburse aid using Direct Loan / Pell Disbursement Sheet
· Cross check disbursements entered into student ledgers for accuracy
· Weekly tuition overview recorded daily, give to the Owner/Operations Director
· Tuition Income Projection Sheet completed for owner monthly
· Track and print weekly the hours/credits completed by each student to verify hours/credits completed
· Conduct Exit Interview and collect documentation including Exit Loan Counseling for graduates and students who withdraw
· Complete R2T4 SERVICER worksheet for Title IV Aid students who withdraw
· Complete School Refund Worksheet for withdrawals
· Complete Government Reports including but not limited to:
· IPEDS report three times per year
· Campus Crime Annual Report
· Accreditation Annual Report
· Net Price Calculator
· At least once yearly, attend financial aid training (webinars or onsite)
· Compile data for Program Review if School is selected to complete a review
· Update School policies affecting financial aid with the help of the Owner or Operations Director

- Full time position – Hourly
- 5 days a week
