Finance Manager

We are seeking an analytical Finance Manager to support financial operations for a manufacturing environment. This role blends hands-on accounting with financial planning and analysis, and partners closely with operations to deliver accurate reporting and actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close process using Sage, including journal entries, accruals, and general ledger reconciliations
• Maintain accurate, timely financial records and ensure strong accounting fundamentals
• Support operational reporting including shrink, payroll, and sales
• Build and manage budgets and forecasts; analyze performance and key variances
• Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics teams to understand cost drivers and operational trends
• Develop and enhance financial reporting and dashboards using Power BI
• Leverage Python and analytics tools to automate reporting and improve processes
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests
• Provide oversight to one AP clerical direct report

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Information Sciences, or a related field
• Power BI and Python experience required
• Experience with Sage or similar ERP/accounting systems
• Manufacturing, supply chain, or distribution/logistics experience preferred
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work cross-functionally
