Graduate Financial Aid Assistant Director

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual for the role of Graduate Financial Aid Assistant Director. This position plays a crucial role in the recruitment of potential graduate students while providing vital information and support to current students regarding financial aid options.

Your key responsibilities will include

  • Determining eligibility for financial aid and awarding funds according to federal, state, and institutional guidelines.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and policies governing financial aid.
  • Managing a caseload of graduate student applications, including file reviews, verifications, and awarding.
  • Counseling students on financial aid processes, including application procedures, loan processing, and satisfactory academic progress.
  • Facilitating prompt and professional resolutions to student queries and concerns.
  • Managing Title IV awarding for federal programs, including Direct Loans and TEACH Grants.
  • Providing analytical support in creating reports, charts, and data visualizations to enhance departmental activities.
  • Assisting the Director of Graduate Financial Aid with communication strategies, technical support, and troubleshooting needs.
  • Developing and implementing projects that improve services for graduate students and ensure compliance with internal policies.
  • Participating in recruitment events, orientations, and presentations to attract and retain graduate students.
