We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Financial Counselor in New York.
Job Responsibilities
- Promotes the quality and effectiveness of financial counseling services. Interviews discharged patients who are unable to pay their bills.
- Facilitates the appropriate admission of patients to inpatient services and assesses potential candidates for transfer or admission.
- Interprets insurance coverage, communicates financial requirements, provides information regarding public assistance programs, assists with applications and arranges alternative payment options.
