We’re partnering with a growing organization to identify a Director of Financial Reporting to lead its SEC reporting and technical accounting function. This is a hands-on, highly technical role for someone who enjoys owning complex reporting, partnering with the business, and building structure as the company evolves.

What You’ll Do

• Lead all SEC reporting and compliance, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, and related disclosures
• Own technical accounting research and application under U.S. GAAP
• Manage and develop two direct reports, providing leadership, review, and mentorship
• Partner closely with business units to consolidate financial reporting and ensure accuracy and consistency
• Support the evolution toward a more centralized financial reporting function
• Drive continuous improvement, including process enhancements and adoption of new tools and technologies

What We’re Looking For

• CPA required
• Background in Big 4 or large regional public accounting (straight out of public accounting is welcome)
• Experience with manufacturing clients or manufacturing industry reporting
• Strong SEC reporting and technical accounting expertise
• Proven ability to lead, review work, and collaborate cross-functionally
• Mindset focused on improvement, efficiency, and building scalable processes
